Future Vet

Denver was awfully quiet the other day so I went looking for him. I found him in the bathroom with a purse Averi got for Christmas. The purse is a cat with a zipper running along it's back. He had the zipper open and was letting water run right into the purse. When I asked him what he was doing he said he was working on the cat. Then I of course asked him why he would do such a thing. The bathroom was very messy and water was EVERYWHERE. He simply said, "I'm a vet."

This is for my two dear friends that are much better bloggers than me. I really am trying to do this. Here are the kiddos at Easter. I was worried that Averi's dress would be too hot when I bought it. Who knew it would snow? I was so glad her dress came with the sweater. Doesn't she look like a little doll? The hat didn't last very long, but it was cute when it was on.

There wasn't just a little snow that weekend. Denver is posing next to the smallest of four snowmen in the front of our church. Four snowmen in one yard is a lot of snow for Hamilton, especially at Easter. Denver's a little mac daddy in his suit.

Here is Denver sledding behind Will's pick up with the Hale girls. Lainey is in the back. You just can't see her. They had a blast. After a round or two, Denver told us his hands were hurting. Well no wonder...no gloves!!! He HAD gloves, but they were wet so he didn't want to wear them.

Not so loving on Valentine's Day

I am not sure if you can see the tears streaming down this poor child's face, but trust me they are there. I couldn't wait to get Averi's picture made in her new Valentine's outfit. Needless to say, Averi did not share my feelings. Valentine's-shmalentine's!!! She did not want her picture taken and by golly she certainly wasn't going to cooperate. At one point I was shouting at the photographer, "Just take the picture, just take it, hurry and take the picture!" I feel quite certain they were not happy when I renewed my smile savers card. That might indicate I was planning on returning. Oh well, smile or not, she still looks as cute as a button to me. Just wanted to share.

Just a normal day

Nothing to post, but wanted to get a little practice at this whole blogging thing. Bear with me as I have lots of trials and many more errors.
